Getting married is one of the most serious decisions we make in life. As well as being a big commitment, it has an impact on family, friends and the whole of society.
The Wenlock Team has a very inclusive approach to marriage, meeting couples where they are and tailoring the marriage service accordingly.
We are delighted to also marry divorcees following Church of England Guidance and are working towards receiving blessings for same-sex couples wishing to celebrate their relationship
If you live in The Wenlock Group of Parishes or are a member of the congregation here, you may marry in any of the churches in the Wenlock Team. You may also be able to marry here if you have a qualifying connection with the churches.
The Church of England provides helpful advice for those considering marriage.
Please contact us for more information about costs, practicalities and possible dates.
The Ministry Team will be happy to talk about planning a church wedding and will help you through all the options and decisions to be made.
All are welcome to attend
There will be a Sung Eucharist at 9.30am each Sunday.
Evensong is usually sung at 6.30pm on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month during Term Time.
The church diary will show any variations in this pattern.
