We are pleased to announce the appointment of the Revd Sarah Hare as Team Vicar in the Wenlock Team of Parishes.

Hello!

I’m Sarah and I am really excited to be coming to The Wenlock Team as Team Vicar.  I am married to Simon who is currently training to be a Reader in the Diocese and we are looking forward to meeting you and joining in with what God is doing in this team.

I have been in the Hereford Diocese since 2013 when I was ordained deacon and have served my curacy in the Ridgeway Benefice which is situated around the Bishop’s Castle area.  I currently work across 5 churches, a couple of which are very deeply rural and we have one church which sits over the border in Wales.

I trained towards ordination at St John’s College Nottingham and prior to this I was a nurse for 13 years working predominantly in different areas of cancer care.  For the last few years of my nursing career I worked in cancer clinical trials in Derby and Burton Hospitals which was a job I loved.

Simon and I are really looking forward to our move to Much Wenlock and to meeting you.  My curacy has had many surprises for me in different ways and I look forward to joining you for the next chapter of our journey.

Our pattern of Family Services and Family Eucharists is changing.

The first Sunday each month will now have a

Family Service or Family Eucharist at 11am.

We welcome families to all our services, not just those planned with children in mind.
